Rufus Hay, PT, DPT, C-PS, TPI, CCC

Rufus Hay is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who began his career at COAST before completing a year of traveling Physical Therapy in California. Rufus was born and raised in Ocean County and graduated from Monsignor Donovan High School in 2012 where he competed on the baseball, hockey, and track teams. Since obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018, Rufus has specialized in golf fitness, performance training, and is a Certified Conditioning Coach. Rufus is currently working on completing his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certifications and would like to further specialize in the rehabilitation of overhead athletes. Rufus has worked with patients of all ages and diagnoses throughout his two years of experience. He uses his understanding of body mechanics and sports specific training to aid patients in recovering from injury to return to golf, as well as other sports, and regain a functional lifestyle. Rufus enjoys the learning opportunities associated with his profession and strives to complete more certifications in order to provide the best evidence-based treatment for his patients.
