
Jake Tavernite
(PT, DPT, OCS)
Jake is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is originally from Long Island, NY. He received his B.S in Exercise Science at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT while he competed on and was captain of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Cross Country and Track teams. Jake continued his education at Sacred Heart University in their Doctorate of physical therapy program where he graduated top of his class in 2021.
He spent his first year as a physical therapist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in their orthopedic residency program. While at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Jake received additional training and grew his passion for youth sports and orthopedic physical therapy. Jake also spent time training, treating, and completing research in their 3D running gait analysis clinic. Since then he has been named a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Jake is passionate about working with individuals of all ages to meet their goals and to help create and maintain a long-term healthy lifestyle.
