
MaryKate (MK) Caverly
(DPT, MS, CSCS)
MK Caverly grew up near the Jersey Shore and attended Red Bank Catholic where she played basketball. During her senior season her team won the Shore Conference and State Championship! After high-school, she received her BA in Neuroscience from Colby College in Maine, where she played collegiate basketball for all four years. After working in finance in New York City for three years following graduation, she decided to return to the health science field and attend PT school. MK received her doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2023 and began working at COAST Rehab in May of 2025. While in PT school, MK became a Certified Sports & Conditioning Specialist, which gave her further insight into strength and conditioning foundations, lifting mechanics, and athletic programming.
MK’s physical therapy training and experience consists of both pediatric and adult sports & orthopedics and sports performance, with a large focus on treating pre-operative and post-operative ACL repairs / reconstructions and concussions. Outside of her role as a Physical Therapist, she is an assistant basketball coach at Trinity Hall and an AAU girls basketball coach. Given her background in basketball, she enjoys coaching, training, and treating basketball players and getting involved in the basketball community.
